Changes on both sides of the ball. Offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler is now the head coach of Bowling Green.  New OC Mike Bajakian is coming from the NFL ranks (QB Coach at Tampa Bay).  2018 defensive coordinator Jim Reid was demoted and linebackers coach Bill Sheridan was promoted to DC.

4 Starting offensive lineman graduated.

An offense of Anthony Brown (QB), AJ Dillon (RB) and Kobay White (WR) is not enough offense in the ACC.

They end the season with 4 of their last 5 games on the road, @Clemson, @Syracuse, Home to Florida St, back on the road against Notre Dame and Pittsburgh. They would have to win probably their first 7 games to hit his over.  The Syracuse and Florida St games could be must win to hit the over.

Strength of Schedule:

I’m all aboard what seems to be a popular preseason pick.  The Orangemen are not a 5 win team.  Do I think this is a 15thranked team or a 10 win team? No, but there are a lot of pieces on offense that could win some track meet like games that the ACC has produced in recent seasons.  Out is Eric Dungey, but in is Tommy DeVito.  DeVito did see some action as a freshmen last season and does have the tools and skills necessary to be an above average starting quarterback.  Leading running back Moe Neal is returning.

Looking for 6 wins on this schedule, I see 4 wins right off the bat; Liberty, Western Michigan, Holy Cross and Wake Forest.  Then two road games against rebuilding teams in Louisville and Duke, both winnable games.  Home games late against Pittsburgh and Wake could be another 2 wins.  Depending on the juice you might want to even look at Over 6 or 6 ½, 7 wins is doable with this team.
